Addison Dorenkamp, a junior at West Des Moines Valley High, placed second in the girls 3,000 meters in a personal-best 9:36.98 at the 113th Drake Relays at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Dorenkamp improved on her previous-best 9:38.21, remaining as the No. 5 all-time Iowa prep competitor.
