Addison Dorenkamp, a junior at West Des Moines Valley High in Iowa, took third in the inaugural girls elite high school mile in 4:51.45 at the 113th Drake Relays at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Dorenkamp ascended to the No. 6 mile competitor in Iowa prep history.
