Addison Dorenkamp, a sophomore at West Des Moines Valley, placed second in the girls 3,000 meters in a personal-best 9:56.91 at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream Powered by Mediacom and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Dorenkamp achieved the first sub-10 performance of her career.
